Filters

Blocked or damaged air or fuel filters can significantly impact your car’s performance, gas mileage and engine life. It is critical that you prevent dust, dirt and other harmful materials from entering your engine through your air, oil, and fuel intakes. Air filters help keep your airflow clean and your engine running cooler, while fuel filters help keep your fuel supply clean. And of course, you should always get a new oil filter whenever you bring your car into 216 AUTOMOTIVE's for an oil change.

Fluid Exchange

To keep all aspects of your vehicle running at peak performance, change all of your car’s key fluids on a regular schedule. This is especially important as seasons change and your car goes from cold to hot or hot to cold.

While visiting us for new tires, an oil change, or other service, have our expert technicians inspect and change, as needed, all of the following fluids to insure against unexpected breakdown.

  • Brake Fluid
  • Antifreeze
  • Power Steering Fluid
  • Transmission Fluid
  • Differential Fluid
  • Transfer Case Fluid

Tire Rotation

How long your tires will last is almost entirely dependent upon preventing premature tread wear. To insure even wear and long lasting tires it is recommended that they be rotated every 6,000 Miles (about every two oil changes). In addition, tires that are not rotated regularly could potentially void the manufacturer warranty.

Our expert technicians will not only rotate your tires, but will fully inspect your tires to make the right recommendations concerning repair or replacement if needed. Our tire rotation service includes:

  • Checking tire pressure
  • Carefully inspecting tires to identify visible damage or abnormal wear patterns
  • Rotating tires according to the pattern recommended by your vehicle's manufacturer
  • Torque lug nuts/bolts to the proper specifications

Wheel Alignment

Improper wheel alignment is often caused by chuck holes, minor accidents, and normal wear and tear of the steering and suspension System. When this happens, your tires will wear unevenly, your car may pull to one side, or you may notice a vibration when driving. If you experience any of these conditions, come visit
216 AUTOMOTIVE Today.!

Proper wheel alignment, along with tire rotation, is not only safer and more comfortable to drive but will save on tire wear while improving gas mileage. 216 AUTOMOTIVE's expert technicians use state of the art computerized wheel alignment tools to insure the highest precision and accuracy when realigning your car.

Belts and Hose Inspections and Replacements

Each time your oil is changed, it is important to inspect your drive belts and hoses and have them replaced as needed. Heat and wear causes small cracks in your belts and hoses. These cracks can lead to bigger problems if left unnoticed.

If you hear slapping or high pitched squeaking sounds coming from your engine, it is time to have a 216 AUTOMOTIVE technician determine where the problem exists before a minor problem leads to a major breakdown...and more expensive repairs.
